Ehsan Nikbakht 

Ehsan is a professor of finance at the Frank Zarb School of Business of Hofstra University on Long Island, New York.  He was the chairperson of the finance department and the associate dean of the Frank Zarb School of Business.  Ehsan has extensive teaching and consulting experience in executive training programs in derivatives and risk management.  He is actively involved in research and designing advanced curriculum in financial risk management for in-house training programs.  He was a regional director of the CFA Review Program of Schweser (a Washington Post Company) in New York.  He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Derivatives Committee of New York Society of Securities Analysts. He is a lead lecturer at financial institutions including Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Wachovia, PNC, Royal Bank of Canada, and several hedge funds.  Ehsan currently serves as an Associate of Merrill Lynch Center for Research.

Recognized as an excellent educator, Ehsan was voted as the 2004 Executive MBA Educator of the Year.  He is a recipient of the Dean’s Award for “outstanding teaching and service.”  He has published books and journal articles, and presented research papers at national and international finance conventions.  His research book on foreign loans received a Stessin Prize for an "Outstanding Scholarly Publication." 

Ehsan served on the Advisory Board of the Association of International Financial Engineers.
