  • Introduction to Leadership Very simply put, leading is establishing direction and influencing others to follow that direction. However, there are many variations and different areas of emphasis to this very simple definition.

  • Introduction to Organization Introduction to U.S. Business Organizations (for-profit and nonprofit).
  • Traditionally, the term "management" refers to the activities (and often the group of people) involved in the four general functions: planning, organizing, leading and coordinating of resources.

  • Performance Management Simply put, performance management includes activities to ensure that goals are consistently being met in an effective and efficient manner. Performance management can focus on performance of the organization, a department, processes to build a product or service, employees, etc.
